France Lebel has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medical affairs and liaison roles. Starting in 1991 as a Territory Hospital Manager, they then worked as a Clinical Research Associate, Territory Manager, and Medical Science Liaison for various companies including Ortho-McNeil Canada, Janssen-Ortho Inc. Canada, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Canada. In 2009, they joined Actelion Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Science Liaison and later became a Senior Medical Science Liaison at InterMune Canada Inc. In 2014, they worked at Eisai Limited as a Medical Advisor and then as a Senior Medical Science Liaison. France Lebel also held roles at Recordati Rare Diseases Canada Inc., Recordati Rare Diseases Inc., and is currently working as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Recordati.
France Lebel completed a B.Sc in Microbiology from Université Laval between 1986 and 1989. They then pursued further education at the same institution and earned an M.Sc in Experimental Medicine, Genetics Epidemiology from 1989 to 1992. In 2016, they obtained a Certificate in Leadership & Management from Algonquin College Executive Training. Later, from 2017 to 2018, France Lebel attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they completed a Certificate in Creative Writing.
