George Missailidis has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. George began their career at Biogen Idec U.S. Corp, where they held various roles in sales management, commercial operations, training, and development for nearly a decade. George then moved on to EUSA Pharma, where they served as a regional sales director in three different therapeutic areas. Following that, they joined Prometheus Laboratories Inc., a Nestlé Health Science Company, as the director of sales training and development. After working at Walgreens as a regional sales director for specialty pharmacy services, they joined Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a regional sales manager, focusing on rare diseases. Currently, they are at Recordati Rare Diseases Inc. as a regional business director, leading a team of key accounts managers and increasing awareness about Castleman Disease.

George Missailidis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southern Connecticut State University. George also holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including being Korn Ferry / Lominger Leadership Architect Certified from Lominger International in May 2012, Results Oriented Coaching from ROMAR Learning Corp. in September 2005, Corporate Athlete Coach from the Human Performance Institute in September 2002, and Exercise Test Technologist from the American College of Sports Medicine. George is also currently preparing for Training and Coaching Certification with the John Maxwell Team in March 2022.
