Maxwell Johnson

Maxwell Johnson serves as the General Manager for Recordati Rare Diseases Canada Inc. since 2018, leading the marketing and market access for innovative therapies aimed at underserved populations. Previously, during a 13-year tenure at ApoPharma Inc., Maxwell held various leadership roles, including Associate Director of New Product Marketing & Business Development, where responsibilities included the marketing and commercial development of new products in hematology and neurology. Maxwell also shaped the Canadian and US brand strategies and launched the rare disease drug Ferriprox. Maxwell's extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry is complemented by a Diploma of Technology from British Columbia Institute of Technology, an MMSc from the Ted Rogers MBA program at Toronto Metropolitan University, and a BSc in Biological Sciences from Simon Fraser University.
