Mickey Rowe is a professional speaker and author with extensive experience in the arts and disability advocacy. Currently serving as a professional speaker for Top Youth Speakers® and working as an author and narrator for Recorded Books and Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, Mickey also hosts Disability Rights Washington's Annual Gala and Awards Night. Notable keynote speaking engagements include Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, focusing on inclusion in the arts. Previously, Mickey was the founding artistic director of National Disability Theatre, securing national and international grants and managing artistic collaborations. A former featured freelance writer for Teen Vogue, contributions received national recognition, and earlier experience includes serving as a producing assistant at Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Mickey holds a Bachelor's degree in Drama from the University of Washington.
