Tanner Yohe

Team Lead, Data Science at Recorded Future

Tanner Yohe began their professional career as a Student Worker at Northern Illinois University Graduate School, where they were responsible for record archival, data entry, and report generation. They then worked as an Undergraduate Intern at YinLab at NIU, where they acted as a computer science major in a bioinformatics research lab, writing and maintaining web services and stand-alone programs. Tanner later joined Publicis.Sapient as a Junior Associate Technology, primarily focused on software engineering and development within small teams. Following that, they worked at Torch Technologies, Inc. as a Software Design Engineer I and II. In these roles, Tanner designed, developed, and maintained an ETL pipeline in Python to extract and clean data, as well as improved the data model used by virtual trainers. They also served as a hybrid scrum master. Currently, Tanner works as a Data Engineer II at Recorded Future.

Tanner Yohe has a strong educational background in computer science and mathematics. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Northern Illinois University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Following this, Tanner pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2021 to 2023. During this time, they are working towards earning a Master's degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Tanner has also obtained professional certifications. In August 2021, they received the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. In July 2020, they earned the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of computer science.
