Koteswara Rao

Koteswara Rao has over 14 years of experience in the technology industry. Koteswara began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at LiveWire Mobile, Inc., where they were responsible for porting music store applications onto various J2ME and Blackberry devices. In 2009, they joined obopay mobile technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for maintenance and enhancements to Nokia Money Application on J2ME and Blackberry enabled devices, as well as the implementation of new features and enhancements to the server stub application. In 2011, they joined CSC India as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for gathering requirements, impact analysis, and implementation of Emirates Mobile Website. In 2012, they joined Kony, Inc. as a Principal Architect, where they provided technical expertise to various credit union implementations on performance and security guidance. Koteswara also identified and evaluated tooling to automate performance issue detection, designed performance guidelines and best practices to be followed by projects during the implementation cycle, monitored and evaluated projects for performance issues, designed security guidelines, best practices, and go-live compliance checklists, and troubleshot critical pre and post-production issues. Koteswara also drove tools adoption across all projects, reviewed and analyzed security audit reports from third-party vendors, designed coding guidelines for best practices in UI design, and designed and revived estimation models. In 2021, they joined Recordent as Head of Technology.

Koteswara Rao completed their schooling from Seventh Day Adventist High School, Vizag from 1990 to 2001, studying Sciences. Koteswara then went on to complete their Intermediate from Santa Junior College from 2001 to 2003, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Finally, they obtained a B.E (Hons.) in Computer Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2003 to 2007.
