Darlene Jackson, MS, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Collaboraction Theatre Company, following over a decade of volunteer leadership, including roles as board president and vice-president. Additionally, Darlene is the President of the Board of Directors for The Recording Academy and a Voting Member of the Board of Governors for DJ LADY D. With extensive experience as an international DJ and freelance producer, Darlene has a strong background in audio production, creative direction, and writing. Darlene has held roles at Columbia College Chicago as a Creative Industry Liaison and previously as a Career Counselor, focusing on diversity programming for BIPOC and LGBTQ students. Notable past experiences include marketing copywriting at ISI Telemanagement Solutions and contributions to various publications. Darlene holds a Master’s degree in Health Communication from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Millikin University.
