Paola Valencia, MSHRM, is an experienced Human Resources Specialist currently serving at Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. since April 2023 and an Administrator at ConnectCommunity since October 2022. At ConnectCommunity, Paola oversees volunteer training, task delegation, and satisfaction assessment, in addition to spearheading the recruitment and scheduling of volunteers within the children's ministry. Paola's previous role at the Domestic Violence Crisis Center involved facilitating diversity, equity, and inclusion training and advocating for underrepresented clients. As an Advocate Navigator, Paola collaborated with leadership on hiring and onboarding while managing crisis intervention logistics for domestic violence support. Prior experience includes freelance home management and a cashier position at Stew Leonard's Farm Fresh Food. Paola holds a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources Management from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
