Daniel DeGryse

Daniel DeGryse serves as an Instructor at ResponderStrong, leveraging expertise in curriculum development and mental health training for responder communities. As a consultant for Recovery Ways, Daniel provides guidance and training while fostering connections within the responder community. Previous roles include National Referral Relations Specialist, Lead Instructor at the Illinois Fire Service Institute, and Independent Consultant for the International Association of Fire Fighters. Daniel has also held significant positions such as Director of the Rosecrance Florian Program and Retired Battalion Chief with the Chicago Fire Department. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Wabash College and a Bachelor of Arts in Fire Science Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
