Alyson Smith, CPA

Alyson Smith, CPA, has been working in the financial field for over 17 years. Alyson currently holds the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at RecoveryOne, where they have been employed since January 2022.

Prior to joining RecoveryOne, Alyson worked at Gordian for six years. Alyson held various roles during their tenure, including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis from October 2019 to January 2022, Manager of Business Operations from July 2017 to October 2019, and Financial Analyst from May 2016 to December 2017.

Before Gordian, Alyson was a Financial Analyst III, Loan Accounting at TD Bank from July 2014 to May 2016. Alyson also gained experience as a Senior Accountant at Erwin Penland from March 2012 to May 2014 and as a Financial Accounting Analyst at Spartan Foods of America from December 2010 to September 2011.

Additionally, Alyson worked as an Accounting Manager at Innovative Container from February 2008 to May 2009 and as a Cost Accountant at Revman International from May 2007 to February 2008. Alyson began their career with an internship in Auditing and Assurance at Elliott Davis from January 2005 to April 2005.

Alyson Smith, CPA completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from Bob Jones University in 2010. Prior to that, in 2006, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the same institution. In February 2012, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the South Carolina institution.
