Pavel Ostyakov

Pavel Ostyakov is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning, currently serving as the Head of AI at Recraft since November 2022. Previously, Pavel held various roles at Huawei from July 2019 to November 2022, including Principal Research Engineer, Team Leader for Image Processing, and Senior Research Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Deep Learning Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute & AI Center Russia from May 2018 to July 2019, focusing on projects such as video classification, unsupervised image segmentation, and photo-realistic style transfer. Pavel began a career at Yandex as a Junior Developer and Software Engineering Intern from October 2016 to May 2018, contributing to the development of an in-house MapReduce system. Pavel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Higher School of Economics, completed in 2019.
