Sandro Blaslov

Sandro Blaslov is the current Vice President of Engineering at Rectangle Health. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Platform Engineering at CardFlight from December 2017 to January 2019. Sandro also served as the Engineering Manager at Shutterfly, Inc. from June 2010 to June 2017, where they were responsible for the leadership of the engineering team and technology solutions for Shutterfly’s MyPublisher brand of photo books.

During their time at Shutterfly, Blaslov led the team in expanding the company’s technology stack to include a RESTful API stack using Spring, Spring boot, and various other Java api’s. The team also moved the PHP stack to Node.js and Bootstrap to provide an optimized mobile experience for customers. Other improvements to the architecture included leveraging the AMQP messaging, virtualization and introducing a microservices for certain solutions. These changes allowed Shutterfly to provide a stable eCommerce platform during peak load times.

Blaslov’s experience with successfully leading engineering teams and implementing innovative solutions makes him a valuable asset to Rectangle Health. Under their guidance, the company is sure to continue developing cutting-edge platforms and products.

Sandro Blaslov has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management Information Systems, General from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.
