Alejandro Moreno Benitez is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the solar energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer and President of the EMEA Region at Recurrent Energy since May 2023, Alejandro previously held various leadership roles at Canadian Solar from November 2013 to August 2023, including Vice President and General Manager for EMEA and overall P&L responsibility for solar energy development across the Americas. Alejandro's career also includes significant positions at ISOFOTON, Suntech, and AVANZZA JAPAN, where responsibilities encompassed global sales, business development, and regional management. Alejandro began a professional journey at Accenture and Israel Discount Bank, focusing on consulting. Alejandro holds degrees in Agronomic Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
