Dave Szamet

Dave Szamet has extensive work experience in the production industry. Dave is currently the VP of Production at Recurrent Ventures since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the General Manager and Head of Production at Safiya Nygaard - SAFTY, LLC from March 2022 to May 2023. Dave also served as the Director of Production for Originals at VENN from May 2020 to March 2021. From May 2017 to May 2020, Dave worked as the Head of Production at Blackpills. Dave has also held various producer roles at Conscious Minds Studios, Hot Airr LLC., A Relative Stranger LLC., New Black Inc., and Camborne Productions.

Dave Szamet attended Linfield University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a BA in English and Political Science. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued further education at The American Film Institute, obtaining a Masters in Producing with a focus on Film Producing.
