Erin Aho

Erin Aho, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director of Discovery Biology at Recursion, having previously held the same title at Exscientia, focusing on oncology target identification and validation. Prior to these roles, Erin contributed significantly at Forma Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist I and Scientist II, leading the FT-3171 USP1 program and managing collaborations for mechanism of action studies. Academic training includes a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Vanderbilt University, where research involved targeting WDR5 in leukemia, complemented by early experience as a research technologist and teaching assistant. Erin has established a strong foundation in drug discovery, target validation, and collaboration within biotech environments.
