Jelena Perovanovic

Jelena Perovanovic, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Computational Biologist at Recursion since November 2021, having previously held roles as a Computational Biologist and Scientist II within the same organization. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at Huntsman Cancer Institute from May 2019 to October 2021 and a Postdoctoral Fellow role at the National Institutes of Health from April 2016 to August 2018. Jelena's research began as a Graduate Student at Children's National Medical Center and The George Washington University, where doctoral studies in Molecular Medicine were completed in 2015. Earlier research contributions were made at the Children's National Medical Center and Institut za biološka istraživanja "Siniša Stanković" as a Research Assistant. Academic credentials include a PhD from The George Washington University and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Physiology from the University of Belgrade.
