Zijian Xiong

Zijian Xiong is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in drug discovery and biochemistry. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Recursion since May 2023, Zijian previously held the position of Senior Scientist at Cyclica from October 2022 to May 2023 and at Dalriada Drug Discovery from July 2020 to May 2023. Earlier roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at The Structural Genomics Consortium from April 2019 to July 2020 and PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto from September 2012 to March 2019, where Zijian developed a novel expression system for lysosomal proteins. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Carleton University.
