Jay Westercamp

Jay Westercamp has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jay is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Recycle Track Systems since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager at the same company from December 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Recycle Track Systems, Jay Westercamp held the position of Application Development Manager at SAIC from February 2014 to January 2022. In this role, they managed a team of 13 employees and 10+ variable sub-contractors across 5 remote teams, supporting the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) for the Federal Government employee's retirement savings plan. Jay was responsible for employee growth, budget management, forecasting, and BOE for Task Orders.

From January 2009 to January 2014, Jay Westercamp worked as an Application Development Lead at Serco. During their tenure, they led a team of 5 developers and successfully delivered product releases on schedule. Jay also handled security vulnerability remediation based on WebInspect scans.

Prior to Serco, Jay Westercamp served as a Senior Software Engineer at SI International from January 2004 to January 2009. Jay took the lead in implementing a USDA Radiation Safety Management System using IBM WebSphere Portal and Java. Additionally, they extended the functionality of financial ColdFusion web-based applications and created business reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services.

Before SI International, Jay Westercamp worked at MATCOM as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2001 to January 2004. Jay was part of a small team that developed a ColdFusion/SQL Server based CRM call center application. Jay also played a role in configuring IIS, ColdFusion Server, and SQL Server.

Jay Westercamp's early career began at Sprint, where they worked as a Software Engineer II from June 1999 to September 2001.
