Shawnna Kinard

Shawnna Kinard began their work experience in 2005 at HCR ManorCare as an LPN, where they worked until 2017. Shawnna then worked at Pennsylvania Gastroenterology Consultants as an LPN from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Penn State Health as an LPN and remained in that role until 2019. Afterward, they worked at MileStone Staffing as a Licensed Practical Nurse from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Shawnna is working at Red Aspen as a Sr Brand Manager, starting in March 2023.

Shawnna Kinard, LPN, CPT, CYFC, CPPC has a diverse education history. Shawnna earned a diploma in Practical Nursing from Mifflin Juniata CTC in 2005 and an academic degree from Susquenita High School in 2003. Shawnna further pursued their education at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in 2020, specializing in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences. Shawnna also earned an Associate of Science degree in the same field from HACC in 2020. In addition to these academic achievements, Kinard attended Lionel University to become a Certified Personal Trainer in 2018 and a Certified Youth Fitness Coach in 2020.

In addition to their educational background, Kinard holds various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Shawnna obtained the certification of Clinical Preceptor from Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2017. Shawnna also became an LPN III at the same institution in 2016. Furthermore, Kinard received certifications in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health in 2019 and Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider from the American Heart Association in 2020. Shawnna also acquired the RAMP certification from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in 2017 and the Certified Pre and Postnatal Coach certification from Girls Gone Strong in 2021.
