Joseph Barker

Joseph Barker has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Joseph started their career at Confirmit in 2016, where they had a work experience opportunity. In 2018, they participated in the Wealth Management Work Experience Programme at RBC Brewin Dolphin. Joseph then joined Berenberg in 2021 as a European Equities Summer Intern, which was extended due to their strong performance, and eventually secured a place in their International Graduate Programme. In 2022, Joseph worked as an Equity Research Graduate Analyst at Berenberg before moving on to their current role as a Numbers Analyst (Equity Research) at Redburn in 2023.

Joseph Barker attended Ark Bolingbroke Academy from 2012 to 2017 and earned their GCSEs during this time. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued their A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, Geography, and AS Further Mathematics at the same academy. In 2019, Joseph enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and pursued a BSc in Economics, which they completed in 2022. Additionally, in November 2022, they obtained the CISI Level 3 Certificate in Securities (Securities and UK Financial Regulation) from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
