Olivier Brochet

Olivier Brochet has a diverse and extensive work experience in the equity research field, with a strong focus on the European Aerospace & Defence sector. Olivier started their career in 1992 as a Marketing Advisor at Aerospatiale Canada, where they conducted market research and represented the company in negotiations.

In 1994, Brochet joined Société de Bourse Gilbert Dupont as an Equity Research Analyst. Olivier stayed with the company until 1996, building valuable experience in analyzing European Aerospace & Defence companies.

Olivier then joined BNP Paribas as an Equity Research Analyst, where they further developed their expertise in the sector. Brochet successfully expanded their client base and created a bi-monthly branded product called Flight Plan, providing stock advice and industry insights.

From 2003 to 2007, Brochet founded their own company, A-D Recherche, where they provided strategic and financial analysis services on the Aerospace & Defence sector. Olivier published research reports and conducted bespoke research for clients.

In 2014, Brochet joined Credit Suisse as a Senior Equity Research Analyst and served as the Head of the European Aerospace & Defence sector. Olivier built the stock coverage from scratch and turned it into a leading franchise. Olivier expanded their client base to include major North American investors and their research became a reference for the bank's equity research product.

Brochet's most recent work experience is with Redburn, where they hold the position of Senior Equity Research Analyst starting in 2022.

In 1986 to 1988, Olivier attended Collège Stanislas Paris, where they completed their Classe préparatoires HEC.

From 1989 to 1992, Olivier studied finance at ICN Business School.
