Josh Deyoung

Josh DeYoung is currently the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Red Canary since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the same role at Techstars from January 2019 to June 2021, where they also served as the Budget and Finance Lead from May 2017 to December 2018. Before joining Techstars, they worked at Northwestern University from October 2013 to May 2017 in various roles, including Associate Director of Budget Analysis, Manager of Budget Analysis, Senior Budget Analyst, and Budget Analyst. Their earliest work experience was at the University of Michigan, where they served as a Financial Specialist from October 2012 to October 2013, a Student Services Coordinator from October 2010 to October 2012, and an Advising Information Assistant from January 2009 to October 2010.

Josh DeYoung earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classical Civilizations with an academic minor in the Environment from the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2008. Josh then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Wayne State University between 2010 and 2013.
