Eugene Lao

Eugene Lao has a long and varied career in the legal industry. Eugene began their career as an Associate at Hunton & Williams in 1995. Eugene then moved to Yahoo! Inc. in 2001, where they held the role of VP & Regional General Counsel, Asia-Pacific. In 2011, they joined Zynga as Vice-President & Deputy General Counsel. In 2013, they moved to Auction.com as Vice-President & Deputy General Counsel. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at DocuSign as Vice-President & Deputy General Counsel. In 2019, they joined Reltio as General Counsel. In 2021, they became President & Chief Legal Officer at Prime Trust. Most recently, in 2023, they Co-Founded Stealth Startup.

Eugene Lao obtained their JD and LLM from Duke University School of Law between 1992 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Psychology, International Studies, and Asian Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1987 and 1991.
