James Dowmont

James Dowmont has extensive experience in the steel detailing and construction industry, currently serving as a Steel Detailer at Red Dot Buildings since March 2017. Prior to this role, James worked as a Detailer at Mueller, Inc. and Red Dot, gaining valuable experience in preparing detailed drawings for construction and shop fabrication. James also has a background in customer service, coordinating deliveries and supporting sales teams. Earlier in James's career at Tyler Building Systems, James worked as an Estimator and Designer, focusing on the estimation and engineering of low-rise metal building structures. James holds an AAS in Computer Aided Drafting from ITT Technical College, acquired between 1994 and 1996.
