Joey Li

Joey Li has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joey currently holds the position of Group IT Manager at Red Industries since February 2022, where they are responsible for defining and presenting the IT strategy and roadmap to senior management. Joey has implemented cybersecurity controls and deployed the SAP ERP & CRM system to streamline business operations.

Prior to their current role, Joey worked as a Project Manager at Intouch Games Ltd from May 2021 to November 2021. Here, they successfully launched an online casino in over 20 countries within a challenging 6-month timeframe, generating new revenue for the company.

From 2014 to 2021, Joey served as the Regional IT Support Manager at Schindler Group. Joey played a key role in the rollout of the SAP ERP system across 12 Southeast Asian countries, improving operational efficiency by 20%. Joey also implemented Office 365 cloud services, enabling anytime, anywhere access to company resources and reducing infrastructure costs.

Before joining Schindler Group, Joey worked at NCSI (HK) Limited as a Senior Consultant (Project Manager Role) from October 2009 to May 2014. Here, they successfully delivered various IT system implementation projects for the Hong Kong Government, ensuring they were completed within budget and timeline.

Joey's career began at Macco IT Limited in 2008, where they worked as a System Analyst, analyzing clients' business processes and implementing IT solutions to improve their performance. Joey also integrated new IT solutions with existing systems and implemented streamlined business processes.

Prior to Macco IT Limited, Joey worked at NGIS China Limited as a System Analyst, where they developed Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the Hong Kong Government. Joey gathered and analyzed user requirements, designed and implemented feasible GIS solutions, and provided application support and maintenance.

Joey's early work experience includes roles as an Application Engineer at Sincere State Technologies and as an Engineer at A-Comm Engineering Company.

Joey Li obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2000 to 2003. Later, from 2006 to 2008, Joey pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology Management from Hong Kong Baptist University. In addition to these academic qualifications, Joey Li also holds several professional certifications. In October 2009, Joey obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, in November 2020, Joey obtained the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. The most recent certification obtained by Joey is the PRINCE2 Agile® Project Management Certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2021.
