Kelly van Ert

Kelly Van Ert is the Founder and CEO of Empower Independence Company, where as an occupational therapist, extensive experience includes conducting over one thousand bathing/shower evaluations to enhance safety and independence for aging adults and individuals with physical impairments. Additional roles have included serving as an occupational therapist for Red Lake Independent School District #38, providing on-site therapy services, and working in various healthcare settings such as Regional West Medical Center and Select Rehabilitation, focusing on patient evaluations and tailored care plans. Kelly holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of Saint Mary and a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
