Doug Flanders has a diverse work experience in various sales roles. Doug started their career at Otis Elevator Company as a Field Engineer from 1988 to 1995. Doug then worked as a Sales Engineer at Mosier Fluid Power and Automation from 1995 to 1999, achieving double-digit growth every year. Flanders joined AMETEK in 1999 as a Regional Sales Manager, where they managed and developed a multi-state region and secured Fortune 500 companies as large customers. In 2007, they joined Red Lion Controls as the Senior Director of Sales Americas and held various roles, including Director of Sales for Industrial Networking and Automation Controls. Flanders also worked as the Vice President of Sales at Litesheet Solutions, leading a sales force and establishing a base of business for an emerging technology.
Doug Flanders has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Tampa Technical Institute (NEC). Doug also holds an Associate's Degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician from North Georgia Technical Institute.
Doug has pursued further education in Business Administration at Dekalb College/Georgia State University.
In 1988, Doug completed a 5-year apprenticeship and certification program in Elevators, Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, and Mechanical Theory from IUEC-International Union of Elevator Constructors.
Additionally, Doug has obtained certifications from various training facilities. In 1992, they attended Square D Manufacturing & Training Center. In 1998, they received training at the Norgren Fluid Power Training Facility in Littleton, CO. From 1995 to 1997, Doug underwent training at the Omron Training Facility in Schaumburg, IL.
Doug also holds a certification from the Worldwide Branding institution, as a part of The Worldwide Who's Who Registry of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs.
