Andrea Megill, PhD, is an accomplished Senior Medical Writer at Red Nucleus, with extensive experience in medical writing since June 2016. Prior to this role, Andrea served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at The Zanvyl Krieger Mind/Brain Institute, Johns Hopkins University, where significant research contributions included investigating Alzheimer’s disease mechanisms and novel therapeutics. Academic experience extends to teaching roles, including Adjunct Faculty at Towson University and Teaching Assistant positions at various institutions, focusing on biology and neuroscience. Andrea holds a PhD in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an additional PhD in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland.
