Elaine Yetzer Simon

Elaine Yetzer Simon is an experienced communications and editing professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Internal Communications Manager at Red Roof Inn since May 2023, Elaine has also maintained a freelance writing and editing practice since June 2008. Previous roles include Senior Managing Editor and Managing Editor for Hotel Management and Hotel Design at Questex from April 2015 to May 2023, along with a position as Marketing Coordinator at Jumpdog Marketing Inc. from May 2013 to April 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Editor at Questex Media Group from August 1999 to June 2008, and as Assistant Managing Editor at Elyria Chronicle-Telegram from June 1996 to August 1999. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Kent State University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
