Helen Harper has a diverse work experience mainly focused within the Red Roof Inns organization. Helen started off as a Reservation Agent in Red Roof Inns, Inc in 1988. Helen then held various roles in customer service and guest service representative in Red Roof Inns from 1990 to 1998. Afterwards, from 1998 to 2003, they worked as a Field Training & Documentation Specialist in Red Roof Inns, Inc. Helen then took on the role of Management Trainer in Red Roof Inn from 2003 to 2009. From 2009 to 2016, they became the Manager of Operations Systems in Red Roof Inn. Helen then worked as the Director of Enterprise IT Support in Red Roof Inn from 2016 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technology Customer Success and Vendor Management in Red Roof Inn.

Helen Harper earned an Associate's degree in General Education from Columbus State Community College from 2003 to 2006. Helen later completed a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University, attending from 2006 to 2008. Lastly, they obtained an MBA in IT/Project Management from Ashford University, studying from 2012 to 2014. In addition, Helen Harper achieved certification in Comprehensive Innovative Leadership from the Innovative Leadership Institute, with the year of completion being 2023.
