Cecil Ambayo has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. cecil started their career as a Production Supervisor at Limen Farm in 2015. cecil then worked as an Assistant Foreman at Ozer Effraim Vegetable Production Farm from September 2015 to September 2016. In November 2015, they served as a Project Lead at Kfar Silver-Israel. cecil continued their project leadership role at Egerton University from August 2014 to August 2015. In 2017, they joined Vegnest as an Agronomist, where they were responsible for producing different horticultural products with a focus on quality assurance. From February 2019 to August 2019, they worked as a Senior Agronomist at Hunja's Investment. In September 2019, they briefly served as a Probation Officer at the Public Service Commission in Kenya. In 2020, they joined DAL GROUP Agriculture_Sudan as a Greenhouse Assistant, and in 2021, they were promoted to Greenhouse Technical Team Lead. Currently, they hold the position of R&D Greenhouse Operations Supervisor at RedSea since January 2023.

Cecil Ambayo completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Horticultural Science from Egerton University from 2011 to 2015. Following that, Cecil pursued a Diploma in Applied Horticulture/Horticulture Operations, General from the Kfar Silver Campus-Israel from 2015 to 2016.
