Storm van Zyl

Storm van Zyl has over a decade of experience working in finance and consultancy. Their most recent role is Group CFO at RedSea. Prior to that, they worked as CFO and Head of Finance at Aerobotics. Storm also held the position of Senior Consultant at Greenlite Solutions and Senior Associate at EcoMetrix Africa. Storm started their career in finance as a Carbon Transactor at Nedbank Capital and as Syndicate New Issues Trading Assistant at Morgan Stanley International. Their expertise includes carbon management, climate change consulting, financial modeling, and project due diligence and investment analysis.

Storm van Zyl completed a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town from the years 2003 to 2006. During this time, they also completed a specialization in Finance Honours and Accounting with a CA designation. In 2009 to 2010, Storm also completed an Msc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh.
