Prior to that, they pursued Marketing/Marketing Management, with a General focus at University of Florida from 2005 to 2007. Before attending University of Florida, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management also with a General focus at Broward College from 2003 to 2005.

Additionally, Zachary S Stashis has obtained various certifications. In May 2016, they obtained the CompTIA A+ ce certification from CompTIA. Following that, they earned the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification, GIAC Advisory Board membership, and GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification in June 2017. In February 2018, they became an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and later in the same year, in December, they obtained the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification. In September 2017, they added the GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) certification to their credentials. Finally, in May 2019, they acquired the GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certification.
