Issam Bandak

Issam Bandak has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and DevOps. Issam started their career in 1995 as a Senior QA Engineer at The Wollongong Group, where they led testing of networking products. Issam then worked as a QA Manager at Pointcast Inc and Entrypoint Inc, where they oversaw QA activities and coordinated cross-departmental efforts to ensure quality consistency.

In 2000, Issam joined Patni Computer System as the Director of Software Quality Assurance. In this role, they established QA departments for telecommunications clients, defined testing strategies, and implemented QA processes. Issam also developed and executed cross-functional project plans to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

From 2007 to 2016, Issam served as the Head of QA and DevOps at Zephyr. Issam founded and led the QA and Cloud Operations departments, ensuring the effective testing and availability of Zephyr's test management platform. Issam was also a member of the executive team, reporting to the CEO.

In 2018, Issam joined Valimail as a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering. Issam later transitioned to a role as the Director of Sales Engineering at Red Sift in 2021.

Throughout their career, Issam has specialized in AWS cloud services, platform automation, monitoring, security, migration, and deployment. Issam has provided strategic and technical consultancy services in QA and DevOps, as well as training and testing services for web and mobile applications.

Issam Bandak received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, Systems & Decision Sciences, and Business Administration from Indiana State University - Scott College of Business between 1991 and 1994.
