Paul Yanover

Paul Yanover is a digital media and e-commerce executive who has directed top businesses and brands at the intersection of entertainment and technology. In his current role, he oversees Lonely Planet - continuing to unlock growth for the iconic media brand while leading it into its next chapter of digital growth.

Most recently, as the CEO of Fandango, he oversaw the Fandango, Flixster, MovieTickets.com, Rotten Tomatoes, Vudu, and Movieclips brands and businesses - ushering more than 60 million fans per month to premium entertainment experiences in theaters, at home, and on-the-go.

Prior to Fandango, Paul was the executive vice-president and managing director of Disney Online (DOL), the entertainment and lifestyle digital product group of the Walt Disney Company. He also led Lookout Interactive Media, a consulting practice focused on strategy, product development, marketing and monetization for digital media, technology and entertainment companies where his clients included James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Phil Anschutz/The Anschutz Company, Glam Media, World Wrestling Entertainment and Fishbowl Media Worldwide as well as several early stage technology companies.

In the e-commerce space, Paul was the senior vice-president in charge of Disney’s Parks & Resorts Online, overseeing the online travel business across Disney’s properties and theme parks worldwide.

Before that, he was co-founder and CEO of Ceiva Logic, a consumer electronics company featuring the world’s first Internet-connected digital picture frame and digital picture-sharing network.

Paul began his career with Disney at Walt Disney Feature Animation, ultimately becoming vice president of technology and digital production for the group. There, among other things, he was charged with the development of Disney's Digital Studio, an all-digital animation studio designed from the ground up. His credits include Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Nightmare Before Christmas amongst others.

Paul holds a double honors Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and economics from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Computer Science from the University of Southern California. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
