Simon Willis

Simon Willis has worked in various roles since 2003. Simon began their career as a PhD Candidate at James Cook University in 2003. In 2007, they joined Hatch Associates as a PCS Commissioning Engineer for Vale New Caledonia (Goro Nickel) and a Control Systems Engineer for Inco Australia Management and Nautilus Solwara 1 Project. In 2011, they began working for Mipac as a Senior Systems Engineer and Hatch Associates Pty Ltd as a Control Systems Engineer. In 2019, they became a Principal Electronics Engineer for Redback Technologies.

Simon Willis obtained a PhD from James Cook University in 2007 in the field of Long-Range Wireless Sensor Networks. Prior to that, they obtained a BE/BSc in Computer Systems Engineering / Computer Science from the same university in 2003.
