Kirstine Wood is an accomplished communication and public affairs professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Head of Communications and Public Affairs at Flotation Energy Plc since September 2021, Kirstine previously held roles including Lead Offshore Consents Manager for Seagreen at SSE Renewables and Lead Engagement and Submarine Policy Manager at SSE plc, where responsibilities included obtaining marine and land consents and delivering 200 consents in a recent financial year. Earlier career positions encompassed roles at Consumer Focus Scotland, the Water Industry Commission for Scotland, and the Scottish Government, following a tenure at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. Kirstine holds a Master of Science with Distinction in Rural and Regional Resource Planning and Environmental Management from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Business Studies from The University of Edinburgh.

Our existing portfolio of projects in development includes fixed bottom offshore windfarms (480MW Morecambe; 1200 MW Greystones; 1,500 MW Seadragon) and floating offshore windfarms (100MW White Cross, 1,500 MW Blackwater and up to 500 MW Green Volt).
