Andrew Vendal

SVP, Development & Construction at RedBridge Capital

Andrew Vendal serves as Senior Vice President of Development and Construction for RedBridge Capital, responsible for the design, construction and coordination from development to operations for all value-added and new construction projects. He has 30 years construction and development experience across all types of real estate products.

Mr. Vendal previously served as Vice President of Development and Construction for Peak Campus (2016-2018) and Campus Crest Communities (2013-2015). At Peak Campus, Mr. Vendal was responsible for design, zoning, pre-development, construction and operations for Peak Campus’s ground up development program. Peak Campus is an industry leader in the management and development of student housing communities across the nation. Mr. Vendal worked on portfolios which encompassed both privately-owned and university-sponsored projects in all stages, including initial development, lease-up, stabilized, core, value-add and distressed assets.

During Mr. Vendal’s association with Campus Crest he was responsible for construction operations and was responsible for over $600 million in construction development which included over twenty (20) projects across the United States, Montreal and Toronto Canada. Campus Crest, was formerly a public student housing REIT which builds and manages on and off-campus student housing apartment communities. Mr. Vendal oversaw the development of several brands of product including: The Grove, Copper Beech and EVO. These operating platforms allowed Campus Crest to drive value for stakeholders and create growth opportunities in the student market sector.

Prior to Mr. Vendal’s association in the student housing field, he held several positions with national general contractors including BEERS Construction Company and R.J. Griffin & Company. Mr. Vendal has overseen more than 300 construction and development projects across the U.S. His responsibilities include the oversight of design, construction, budgeting of Building Programs, permitting and capital expenditures for development and construction operations for student-housing, healthcare facilities, surgery centers, senior centers, retail and multi-Family developments.

Andrew Vendal is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Architecture and Construction Design.
