Derek Carlson

Derek Carlson has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Derek is currently working as a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer at RedCAT Systems since June 2022. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2022, Derek held the role of VP of Development at Tresóna Multimedia, LLC, where they specialized in music licensing and publisher needs. Derek was responsible for developing a comprehensive music works database and licensing platform. Before Tresóna Multimedia, Derek worked at AIM IT Services from 2004 to 2022 as VP of Development, leading development services for various projects ranging from simple websites to complex databases and software solutions. Derek started their career at CitiFinancial in 2001 as a Funding role, where they developed and maintained databases to improve productivity and efficiency, created user interfaces, and generated accurate reports.

Derek Carlson attended Collins College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an Associates degree in E-Commerce Programming.
