Ryosuke Yagi is the Senior Director of Finance at Reddit. Prior to joining Reddit, Ryosuke was the Head of Finance Department at POPSUGAR from January 2014 to October 2017.

At POPSUGAR, Ryosuke was responsible for all aspects of FP&A, including revenue and cost forecasting, budgeting, and monthly budget variance analyses for the entire company. Ryosuke also partnered with executives to evaluate major strategic decisions, such as whether or not to start a new line of business, how to ensure positive-ROI marketing spending, and how to control headcount costs by increasing executives' visibility into the recruiting pipeline. In addition, Ryosuke provided internal consulting on various ad hoc projects, including HR process improvement, coordinating teams across the company to improve communication, and controlling costs by improving the granularity of data available to executives.

Under Ryosuke's leadership, the finance team at POPSUGAR started the Sales Analytics function, supporting the CRO with data-driven insights to support rapid revenue growth. Ryosuke also created commission plans for the entire Sales team that created strong incentives while staying within the proscribed budget. Furthermore, they managed the implementation of margin guardrail program to protect gross margins as company scales.

Ryosuke has extensive experience in digital media and e-commerce. Ryosuke is a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Reddit's executive team.

Ryosuke Yagi has an MBA from London Business School and a B.A. with High Honors and Distinction in Developmental Politics from the University of Pennsylvania.
