Clarence Clayton is an experienced leader in global privacy and IT program management, currently serving as the Director of Global Privacy at Red Hat since October 2013. With a strong background in data protection, compliance, and system integration, Clarence has successfully overseen significant projects, including the management of personal data requests under GDPR and the coordination of IBM’s acquisition of Red Hat. Prior to Red Hat, Clarence held various roles at the United States Postal Service and CSC, managing contact center technology implementations and leading business process architecture initiatives. Educationally, Clarence holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
