Florent Benoit

Florent BENOIT is a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat since June 2017, focusing on Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces, Eclipse Che, and Eclipse Theia. Additionally, Florent serves as a committer on the Eclipse Che project at the Eclipse Foundation since August 2014, contributing to the development of tools for project editing, building, and running in a SaaS environment. As an open source developer with the OW2 Consortium since January 2002, Florent has been involved in various projects. Prior experience includes roles as a Technical Expert at Codenvy, where work centered on the Eclipse Che Dashboard and CLI, as well as positions at SERLI and peergreen as a Java EE/OSGi expert. Florent's career began as a Software Engineer at BULL, contributing to the JavaEE open source application server JOnAS. Florent holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I), completed in 2002.
