Kara Strang

Kara Strang has extensive experience in program management and community engagement, currently serving as a Senior Total Rewards Program Manager at Red Hat since October 2019. Previously, Kara held various positions at Marbles Kids Museum, including Director of Community Engagement, and at The ALS Association, where significant contributions included managing the Walks to Defeat ALS, successfully generating over 42% of the statewide goal from 2012 to 2015. Additional experience includes roles at Bonefish Grill as a Guest Service Associate, and at the American Cancer Society in administrative and recruitment capacities. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English, Journalism from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University.
