Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in networking and systems engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director at Red Hat since March 2012, Rashid oversees engineering teams focused on RH Vehicle OS, RHEL-Edge, and RH OpenStack, while also leading a team to address customer networking challenges across various cloud environments. Previously held notable roles include Chairman of the Board for the DPDK Linux Foundation, Senior Manager of Software Engineering at BroadCom, and Tech Team Lead at Siemens, where significant advancements in voice over IP technology were achieved. Rashid holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
