Winston Lloyd

Winston Lloyd is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in commercial law, currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel and Senior Director for the Americas at Red Hat since February 2008. In this role, Winston leads the commercial legal team that supports global business operations, focusing on efficiency and best practices. Prior positions include Director of Legal and Americas Regional Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive legal management for North America and Latin America, as well as strategic advice on contract matters and new product initiatives. Winston's legal career began as a business attorney at Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP, followed by experience in communications law and federal program evaluation. Winston holds a J.D. magna cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics and RTVMP from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
