Derek Brannon

Derek Brannon is a seasoned professional in engineering and logistics, currently serving as a Logistics Quality Specialist for BMW at redi-Group North America, LLC since February 2024, focusing on logistics setup and supplier readiness. Prior to this, Derek held the position of Engineering Manager for New Product Development/New Product Introduction at Current Lighting, overseeing commercial lighting products across various industries from February 2022 to October 2023. Derek's earlier experience includes significant roles at Hubbell Lighting, where as Engineering Manager and Sr. NPD Design Engineer from August 2014 to February 2022, managed substantial new product development projects and achieved significant cost savings. Additional experience includes product engineering at Lear Corporation and Faurecia Automotive Seating, and earlier design engineering roles at Hubbell Lighting. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and a Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt certification from Greenville Technical College.
