Dr. Yogesh Kumar Singh

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Singh (YKS) has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the energy sector. Dr. YOGESH KUMAR has worked as the Head of Government Affairs & Policy, Business Development and Strategy at Redington Limited since 2022, where they monitor and participates in regulatory forums and identifies market opportunities. Previously, they served as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Livguard in 2021, where they analyzed company products and supported the go-to-market strategy.

Prior to that, Dr. Singh worked as a Senior Manager at Microtek International P. Ltd. in 2020, where they upgraded the testing lab and improved processes. Dr. YOGESH KUMAR also served as a Senior Research Scientist at the National Institute of Solar Energy from 2014 to 2020, gaining experience in designing and reviewing solar power projects.

In addition, Dr. Singh has provided consultancy and training in solar designing and feasibility analysis, and worked as a Professional Trainer on Regulatory Framework at IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture in 2019. Dr. YOGESH KUMAR has also served as a Solar Expert Group Member for the International Solar Alliance and gained research experience at SOLAR ENERGY CENTRE, MNRE.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Singh worked as a Lecturer in Electronics and Communication at CERT Group of Institutions, Meerut, where they taught subjects such as Basic Electronics and Nonconventional Energy Resources.

Dr. YOGESH KUMAR also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Energy and Power Management from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) Global. In addition, they attained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Dr. Singh has obtained various certifications, including "Leading in Government" from LinkedIn, "Atal Mentor of Change" from NITI Aayog, and "Foundations of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging" from LinkedIn.
