Aviad Shalom

Aviad Shalom is a Senior Software Engineer at Redis, having joined the Redis Cloud Pro group in December 2022, where Redis Enterprise leverages Redis-OSS for building a high-availability and scalable database. Prior to this role, Aviad worked as a Software Engineer at Riskified from January 2021 to December 2022, focusing on designing and developing microservices using Scala, Node.js, and Ruby on AWS and Kubernetes. Aviad’s experience also includes a position at Totango from May 2019 to January 2021, contributing to customer success infrastructure, and roles at NICE Ltd. and as a private math tutor. Aviad served as a Commanding Officer in the Israel Defense Forces from January 2009 to July 2012 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, earned between 2014 and 2017.
