Uri Bechar

Uri Bechar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Uri is currently serving as the VP Cloud SW Engineering at Redis since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Cloud Native SW Engineering and Technical Product Management at Redis from June 2020 to September 2021. Before that, they held the position of Director Technical Product Manager at Redis from September 2019 to June 2020.

In 2018, Uri worked as the VP R&D at DriveNets from December 2018 to July 2019. From December 2014 to December 2018, they served as the VP Engineering at Vasona Networks.

Uri's experience at Radware, starting from April 2008 to December 2014, was marked by their role as Vice President, Research & Development. Uri successfully led the R&D of ADC solutions and played a crucial role in organizational growth. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Software Team Leader at Radware from May 2003 to April 2008, where they oversaw the design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art ADC solutions.

Before joining Radware, Uri worked at HyWire Ltd as a Software Team Manager, leading the software engineering group in designing and coding a device driver supporting an innovative network search engine ASIC from April 2000 to May 2003. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer at Voltaire from August 1997 to August 1998.

Uri's early work experience includes a role as a Software Developer in the Israeli Defense Forces from September 1993 to September 1997. Uri designed and developed a network management system, earning recognition for successful system deployment in the field.

Uri Bechar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math & Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1997 to 2000.
