Zvi Cahana

Zvi Cahana is a Principal Software Engineer at Redis since March 2022, focusing on building Redis Enterprise software for Kubernetes and advancing the architecture for Redis Cloud, with a strong emphasis on technical leadership and mentorship. Prior experience includes a tenure at IBM from August 2013 to March 2022, where Zvi contributed significantly to the KubeVirt open source project and collaborated with Red Hat on OpenShift Virtualization. Additional roles at IBM involved developing Kubernetes-native infrastructure solutions and early contributions to the Istio Service Mesh. Zvi's career began at Marvell Semiconductor, where simulation and verification environments for Ethernet switches were developed. Zvi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completed in 2014.
